ZigBee Devices: Thermostats, Gateways, Sensors, AC Controllers and Plugs
Short answer: ZigBee devices join a ZigBee network formed by a coordinator, which in the OWON range is a gateway such as the SEG-X3, SEG-X5 or SEG-X6. Mains-powered devices can relay messages, which extends coverage. The profile listed varies by device: ZigBee 3.0, Home Automation Profile or ZigBee HA 1.2.
